Messina Umbrella from Skagerak

This timeless outdoor umbrella is a "must have" shade for any patio or deck area. Its classic Danish design enhances the ambiance of many different decor styles. The slender center pole and rib assembly of this market umbrella are crafted from Meranti wood or aluminum. This durable hardwood is part of the Shorea family and has a rich dark reddish woodgrain finish. The metal version is strong and able to withstand heavy winds, while maintaining a sleek silvery appearance.

The rounded canopy is actually hexagon or octagon shaped, depending on the size. It's made from a weather-resistant polyester fabric in a striking off-white color. Be sure to pair this parasol with an appropriately weighted base to ensure that it is stable in most weather conditions. A lighter base can be used, if the umbrella runs through one of Skagerak's many tables with umbrella holes in the center. For added protection, there is an optional plastic cover.
